This fun center is loaded with top of the line arcade games, a new bowling alley, laser tag, batting cages, bumper boats, mini-golf, go-carts, and more! Fairly priced this is definitely a place for the entire family to enjoy!

Laser Mania

Laser Mania is another local favorite and is fun for all ages. Located on the boulevard next to Ancestor Square. This place has bumper cars, laser tag, 4-D movies, and a maze mini-golf course lit up exclusively by blacklight! There is no doubt your kids will have a blast trying to find their way through the maze-course!

House of Jump

Trust me when I say that this place will blow your kids minds! It is a trampoline park! That’s right. Almost the entire building floor is covered in trampolines for your kiddos to bounce around on! Perfect place to help drain all that energy before nap time! They also offer package deals for birthday parties!

Mystery Escape Room

Newly opened in St. George is Mystery Escape room! This may be a little better for the adolescent ones. This place takes reservations of 6-12 people, and your task is to follow clues, solve puzzles and riddles and try to escape the room within a time limit. This is a great way to challenge those youngsters minds and help them learn!

Sand Hollow Aquatic Center

St. George can get pretty hot, and if you don’t purchase a home with a pool in the backyard you may need a place to cool off with the whole family. Sand Hollow indoor pool is just the place to do that! With water slides, aquatic playgrounds, diving boards, and a lap pool this is one of the best places for all ages to enjoy in the heat of summer.
Water Parks

Since St. George can get extremely hot in the summer, the town offers an array of waterparks located in various areas! There is no doubt wherever you choose to buy be it Washington or even Ivins you will find a waterpark near by!

Outdoor Playgrounds

Last but most definitely not least are our magnificent outdoor playgrounds! What are those you ask? Well all our stunning and fun natural landscapes! St. George is famous for having Zion National Park right in its backyard! That’s right, Zion is only about a 45 minute drive from town. Not only is there Zion, but we also have Red Cliffs, Sand Hollow Reservoir, Gunlock, Snow Canyon, and so much more beautiful outdoor hiking, camping and exploring for your entire family to enjoy!

When you’re looking to sell your home in St George, staging it is essential. Presenting your home in the best light possible can give you the edge over your competitors like few other things can. 1 De-clutter

This is one usually on the top of everyone’s list. Get rid of the clutter! It’s hard for people to easily visualize their furniture, clothes, and lives, in your home when they can’t see the floor. So get rid of the extra junk. This includes downsizing how much furniture you have in the home. You want your property to look bigger, and having it full of couches, nightstands, and bookshelves closes it down.

2 Bathrooms

If you want to send a huge flag to home buyers that you don’t take care of your property, it’s a gross and grimy bathroom. So spend some time and get your bathrooms looking spic and span. Even give them a fresh coat of paint to really push them over the top.

3 Look at the master bedroom

Don’t turn off potential buyers by having a master bedroom that only appeals to one of the sexes. If your master is too gender-specific, then you potentially alienate half of those who are deciding which home to buy. So take a good look at your master, and if you’ve got to get rid of that pink wall with a neutral color then do it. It will go a long way with potential buyers.

4 Kitchen Cabinets

The next thing you should be aware of are old grungy kitchen cabinets. Remember people will spend a lot of time in their kitchens, so having one that’s inviting and not dated is definitely a must. A dated kitchen with old cabinets can really turnoff buyers who are maybe on the fence. If you can’t afford to replace the cabinets then look into getting them re-stained. A lot of people have good luck just painting them as well, something like a subtle white, or light blue

5 Increase Curb Appeal

First impressions are huge with buyers. If they come up to your home and your front yard and exterior turns them off, then oftentimes it’s hard to get them past it. No matter how great your house is on the inside, if the outside doesn’t compliment it then you’re facing an uphill battle. So take a look at your exterior and make a few improvements to it to ensure when you get those buyers, that they can picture themselves coming home to it everyday.

To Buy or Rent That is the Question

For a long time it’s been the conventional wisdom that if you can buy a home in St George, always buy. This wisdom though has changed somewhat recently when the crash hit, and it became apparent that real estate doesn’t always appreciate, and in fact can depreciate. So there are many things to consider when asking the question do I buy, or do I rent?


You would think the first question asked would be, “can you afford to buy?”. But in truth that’s not it, it should be “can you afford to buy, where you would want to live?”. You see you can nearly always afford to buy, but it may not be in the location that you really want. It may be too far from you work, or in a different school than you want your kids to be in. So the real question is, can you afford to buy where you want to? And if that’s a yes then lets proceed with the other considerations.

Do You Need Flexibility With Your St George Real Estate?

How long do you plan on staying in St George? If you are looking for flexibility in the future as far as your housing goes, then the question is answered, lean towards renting. But don’t let that fact stop you either, because if the rental market is going well then you can be confident that even if you have to leave sooner than you had planned, you could rent out your home rather easily. Just make certain you look into the rental market to make certain you could get out of your property what you would need to so as to cover the mortgage, or at very least get you close.

Are You Okay With Maintenance Issues?

When you rent a home in St George, the landlord will take care of the taxes, insurance, most maintenance, and sometimes the utilities. Whereas if you buy, then you’re on your own, that pesky water heater going out is your own responsibility. Here is the kicker though, when you buy, those maintenance things while annoying, are still something that maintains (or adds) value to your property. So it’s an investment that you’re making. Especially when you upgrade things within it, like adding tile in the kitchen, or adding a new bathroom. Yes you pay for these things, but it’s money you should get back out and possibly increase upon when it’s your property.
